I know I have mentioned this before and not being that technically adept I am not sure how difficult it would be but.................. Is there any chance of reversing the order that the new comments are shown, so that the newest ones are at the front? Sometimes I only have a couple of minutes on the site and having to go trough pages and pages of comments to get to the latest ones it very time consuming or if they cannot be reversed can we have an "end" button to get us there? (I notice that they are in reverse order in the comments to me section but not the comments to cats?)

Ebigim, are you talking about comments made to you, and your cats?

If you are, use the "Comments to me" button, they are in order of newest to oldest.

Ebigum, you´re right, under each individual cat the comments start at oldest - which seems crazy. Don´t know why it wasn´t done the same as with under "Comments to me". However, the thing is, all your cats individual comments also show up under "Comments to me" - so it´s quicker just to check all your comments from there . I´m taking it you know to use the double arrow at the bottom of the first page of comments to get to the last page of comments. But as you say, you´ve still got to do quite a bit of scrolling and it is time consuming. There´s no reason I can think of that people would want to look at their oldest comments first, so it´s a pity they´ve done it that way.

Yes ebigum, it would make it easier if the newest comments were at the top and an "end" button would save a lot of time but like Shibula, I usually go to the ´comments to me´ button each time I log in to get the latest ones.

I have moaned about this on several occasions before. The sequence of comments is a pain and just slows the website down with people having to make unnecessary clicks looking for the last entry.

It should not be hard technically to change this.

Also, it would be darned nice if we could correct our own comments made to others. When you double post, (or your computer does) or want to edit them - we should be allowed to edit or delete our own comments. We used to be able to, but now all we can do is flag "inappropriate" Well, mistakes are inappropriate, but I don´t think I want to flag them as such.

I know, I know, think twice, post once - but comments are the only place where we cannot fix our mistakes!

I agree - sometimes I am in such a rush and having to go through old stuff to get to the new seems silly. Yes you can go through the comments to me but if you want to respond you still need to go the the individual cat. I also agree with JanCarol re the mistakes!!

yea,the comments are abit of a problem. Would be good if the comments part could be improved. Also, especially when we reply to the comment, like the one on our the diary part, we would click reply, but it would be posted on our diary so the one who made reply wont know unless they re-read the diary to see the replies.

If the reply to the comment made could be like facebook´s wall-to-wall feature, or at least, the person who made the comment knows, I think that may make things easier.

Suppose I m patting a random kitty, and make comments as I pat, even if they reply to my comments, I wont know.

I don´t know if it has always been there but I have found the end button - which has made life SO much easier
